All English Skills Designation

Each lesson in eKids is designed around a useful topic, and contains vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading and writing sections. eKids gives your kid all the language he needs before asking him to form sentences, have a conversation or do a reading or writing exercise.

A typical topic

eKids builds each lesson so that it gives your child everything he needs to begin communicating on a particular topic.

For example, in the following topic, 'Colours', in Grade 1, we begin with a Vocabulary section on different colours your child will see around them, then a Vocabulary Game to help them practice new words.

Then we introduce some grammar on how to ask “What is your favourite colour?” and to answer “My favourite colour is....” and then followed by a grammar game to practice.

Next, your child is guided to go to the listening section where he could find a video which is a song about colours and how to ask for a person’s favourite colour. After watching the video, he plays a listening game to make sure he has watched it carefully.

There is also a speaking section where your child can record his voice, practicing the dialogue and get instance feedback on how he sounds.

Once your child has mastered these sections, he is ready to start communicating with the language he has learned. eKids gives him reading and writing tasks, asking him to read and write about his favourite colours.

To complete a topic, your child needs to pass each section and each game within that section. Once they have done this, the next topic will be unlocked.

Try eKids and see how your child’s English grow.
